The tenth jubilee concert "Bajram Comes, Courtyards Smell" held in a packed Youth Center

The traditional concert "Bajram Comes, Courtyards Smell" was held tonight in a packed Youth Center in Sarajevo, reports Patria News Agency.

There was great interest in the concert organized by the Islamic Community of Sarajevo, as in all previous years.

More than 130 participants who recited the Quran, ilahijas, and qasidas, and sang traditional Bosnian sevdalinka songs, provided a memorable concert for all lovers of spiritual music.

- We welcomed Ramadan, our dear guest, with love, and we bid farewell to it in the hope that Almighty Allah has forgiven our sins and that Ramadan has taken away all our sins, worries, and difficulties, so that our souls are soaring at this moment. They are happy and content. This is the Bayram of our souls, because we have lived this month patiently, devotedly, and with much love, with our thoughts and wishes directed towards dear God, our Creator, to help us be good, obedient to our parents, to be good friends and good neighbors.

Ramadan was an opportunity to be intensely with God's word, the Quran, to be inspired, and I hope we will continue to cherish God's word, cherish it through reciting the Quran and through our lives. I ask dear Allah to reward us for all the good we do and for His sake, and to forgive our sins, and to admit us to Paradise, God willing - said the chief imam of the Islamic Community of Sarajevo, Ferid efendija Dautović, to the visitors in the Youth Center.

This was the tenth jubilee concert "Bajram Comes, Courtyards Smell".
