
(Patria) - According to Czech media reports, emergency services in Prague report that 11 people, including the attacker, were killed in a shooting at the university.
At least 24 people were injured, some with severe and moderate injuries.
The police previously wrote on social network X that the attacker was killed and that there were several dead and dozens injured.
Czech police report that the evacuation of the faculty building is still ongoing as some students remained barricaded in classrooms.
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that he has canceled his engagements in Olomouc and is returning to Prague due to the tragic events. He asked citizens to follow the instructions of the services.
