One person died in a fire in Derventa, all circumstances are being determined

(Patria) - An as yet unknown person has died in a fire in Derventa, and the police are conducting an investigation under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office, the Doboj Police Administration announced.

The police state that the Derventa Police Station was notified around 1:40 AM that a fire had broken out in the garage and family house owned by R.M. from the Derventa area.

The police found human remains of an as yet unknown person in the interior of the garage, in a burnt-out passenger vehicle, in the driver's seat.

The fire was localized by members of the Derventa Territorial Fire and Rescue Unit.

"The public will be informed in a timely manner about all further facts and circumstances of this event after all necessary measures and actions have been taken," the statement said.
