Flood in Poland Sweeps Away Vehicle with Parents and Children

(Patria) - Floods in Europe, caused by cyclone Boris, have caused numerous misfortunes across the Old Continent.

According to the latest information, the storm has claimed eight lives, and a tragedy was averted in Poland, although it could have easily gone in a much darker direction.

Namely, as local portals report, in the town of Gologłowy in Poland, a car carrying parents and two children was swept away by a flood.

The car was on the road, but the flood came so quickly and was so strong that they could not get out of the car. Fortunately, firefighters managed to save the family.

Many households in the Klodzko district were left without electricity, and mobile connections were unavailable in some areas. Road access to the towns of Lądek-Zdrój and Stronie Śląskie was practically cut off.
