On-call duty introduced in BiH Parliament, health is paramount

(Patria) - The Collegium of the Secretariat of the PA of BiH, due to the worsened epidemiological situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in accordance with the instructions of crisis headquarters and competent health institutions regarding recommendations to employers and employees in order to prevent diseases caused by coronavirus, made a decision at the collegium session of the secretariat to reorganize work and working hours.

The reorganization consists of introducing full-time on-call duty in each organizational unit with a maximum of two employees for periods of 15 days. When making the aforementioned decision, the Collegium of the Secretariat primarily saw its obligation as protecting the health of employees, and this way of reorganization will not affect the regular flow of work and activities of the PA of BiH because the work process allows it.

We note that when making the decision on work reorganization, special consideration was given and priority was placed on mothers of minor children who, in the current situation, do not have the opportunity to attend preschool and primary educational institutions.
