The Association of Journalists of BiH was founded in 1945, immediately after the Second World War, it went through the most difficult period of aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in seven and a half decades of work, your goals have remained the same: the fight for free journalism and the cultivation of professional, high-quality, and objective journalism. Your added value is also the commitment to protecting the freedom of all those who have been exposed to various forms of discrimination or repression. I want to encourage you to continue fighting for free journalism and to let professionalism, ethics, and the commitment to improving the status of every journalist remain your guide and priority in your work. Each of you is a public observer and conveyor of information to the public, and therefore I want all honest people, whether in politics, culture, education, healthcare, sports, etc., to be able to rely on you and your work. Congratulations on 75 years of existence, I wish you good health and success in your work."
