(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today (December 27, 2021) carried out the "Hunter" operation, during which a search was conducted at one location in the Sarajevo area due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been committed, when they deprived one person of liberty.
The person deprived of liberty was taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing, after which they will be questioned as a suspect, and upon completion of these actions, they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
During the search, one rifle and one pistol, a larger quantity of ammunition, and two packages of a powdery substance resembling heroin were discovered and temporarily seized.
These activities are being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, by order of the Municipal Court of Sarajevo, and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
