Two free patient screening campaigns at General Hospital

SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, on Tuesday, November 14, at the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", a campaign of free blood sugar screening will be held for all interested citizens, lasting from 09:00 to 14:00. The staff of the Internal Medicine Department of the General Hospital will examine patients and provide useful advice on this disease, as well as recommendations for its prevention.

The next day, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, during the same hours, on the occasion of World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day, citizens will be examined by a specialist pulmonologist. With a simple and painless test, citizens will be able to measure their lung function (spirometry), and this examination can determine if they suffer from COPD, even before symptoms develop.

The General Hospital invites citizens to respond to this call and check their health.
