November saw lower exports and imports compared to October

In November 2014, the Federation of BiH achieved exports worth a total of KM 487,589, which is KM 26,886 less than in October 2014, but KM 32,084 more than in the same period last year, according to data from the Federal Statistics Office, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

In the same month, imports worth KM 851,485 were achieved, which is KM 91,716 less than in October 2014, but KM 32,627 more than in November of the previous year.

In the period January – November 2014, exports grew by an average of 0.9% each month, and imports grew by an average of 1.9%. The import coverage rate by exports is 57.3% and is 2.8% higher than in October. The trade deficit of the Federation of BiH for November is KM 363,896.

The highest export value of KM 438,723 was achieved in the manufacturing industry, accounting for 90.0% of total exports. The highest import value of KM 779,212 was achieved in the same sector as exports.

In November 2014, the main export destinations were: Germany, Italy, and Croatia. In the same month, the main import sources were: Croatia, Germany, and Italy.
