Tons of Qurbani meat delivered to Old Town Soup Kitchen

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Large quantities of Qurbani meat were delivered this morning to the Old Town Soup Kitchen, where it will be distributed to the Kitchen's users, as well as to others in need. 

As Tetka Zilha, who runs the Old Town Soup Kitchen, told Patria, more than a ton of Qurbani meat is expected. 

"I am tired, but satisfied. Donations and the receipt of Qurbani meat are proceeding under the supervision of veterinary and sanitary inspectors," said Tetka Zilha. 

She added that two organizations from Turkey have announced they will distribute the meat. 

According to her, refrigerated trucks are ready for the meat, and the costs will be covered by the KS Government this year. 

Numerous volunteers are participating in the meat distribution.
