The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened an email address [email protected], where taxpayers can anonymously report if any Tax Administration officials are blackmailing them, extorting money from them, or exerting pressure in any other way, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Spokesperson for the FBiH Tax Administration, Adisa Hamzić, told Patria that this email address was opened on January 19. It will remain open for one month.
- Following media reports that there are officials in the FBiH Tax Administration prone to corruption, we opened an email address where taxpayers can report corruption. Reports must be substantiated and accompanied by evidence. Our departments will duly process each report – said Hamzić.
The Tax Administration previously opened email addresses where citizens can report non-compliance with tax laws and other corrupt activities. Those email addresses are [email protected] and [email protected]. Citizens can also report irregularities via SMS number 061 724 610 and toll-free number 080 020 333, writes Patria.
