Around 11 AM on Saturday, December 26, the First Police Department, Centar Police Station, was informed that on the plateau of KSC Skenderija, in Terezija bb street, Centar municipality, several unknown individuals, bearing symbols of FK Sarajevo, physically attacked four security guards of the security agency "Gama AA", who were providing physical security for the football match between FK Sarajevo and FK Željezničar, reports the Patria News Agency.
This match was part of the futsal tournament "Asim Ferhatović Hase" held in the KSC Skenderija hall. After the intervention of police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the group of fans also threw stones at them.
In the attack, security guard I. B. from Istočno Sarajevo sustained severe bodily injuries, and received medical assistance at the "Dr. Abdulah Nakaš" General Hospital, while two other security guards and two police officers sustained minor bodily injuries.
An investigation was conducted by members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. The police are searching for the attackers, as announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS.
