(Patria) - Yesterday, 34.6 degrees Celsius was measured in Moscow, breaking a 122-year-old temperature record.
This was confirmed by the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, who said that the record temperature in the Russian capital was recorded at 3 PM local time.
He also recalled that the previous temperature record in Moscow was recorded in 1903, and it was 34.5 degrees Celsius.
Vilfand noted that no new temperature records are expected in the coming days, but rather a gradual drop in temperature.
