Far-right rally held in Marseille

(Patria) - The first far-right rally was held in France yesterday, one hundred days before the European Parliament elections.

This is a gathering of the National Rally, whose list is led by Jordan Bardella (28), whose party is the favorite in the elections according to polls in France. He chose Marseille for his first rally.

- What our leaders and the European Union have caused with their unity to go hand in hand represents a great erasure of France - Bardella told the rally of 5,000 people.

According to him, the "erasure" of France represents decline internally, but also in Europe and in the world.

Bardella blamed the policies of French centrist President Emmanuel Macron for this, calling him a "great eraser".

Far-right leader Marine Le Pen was also present at the rally, condemning Macron's "cynicism" that he believes will "find political salvation in stances on war".

Le Pen alluded to Macron's recent statement that the possibility of sending ground troops to Ukraine, which has been facing Russian invasion for more than two years, has not been ruled out.

According to polls, the National Rally could win between 28 and 30 percent of the votes in the European Parliament elections on June 9.

Parallel to this political rally, a gathering of about 600 people was held in Marseille to express their opposition to the National Rally's policies.
