A Belgian citizen directly linked to the Paris attacks has been arrested in Morocco, local authorities announced, reports Sky News.
The man is of Moroccan origin, according to a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Interior, reports the Patria news agency. It was stated that the suspect fought in Syria on the side of the Al-Nusra Front before switching to the Islamic State.
The identity of the arrested individual is still unknown, and many are already speculating that it could be Salah Abdeslam, one of the Paris attackers who has been on the run since the night of the attacks.
