30-year-old Bosnian killed in Malmö, perpetrators at large

In the Swedish city of Malmö on Friday, as local media report, 30-year-old Elvis C., originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, was killed, reports the Patria news agency. 

His desperate parents appealed to anyone who knows more about the incident to contact the police, writes the Aftonbladet portal. 

The police are searching for witnesses who were at Söderkulla Square on Friday, when an explosion first occurred, after which, for now, unknown attackers killed Elvis.

According to unconfirmed information, Elvis was attacked because he admonished unknown young men to stop causing a disturbance in front of a candy store.

The killers have not yet been identified. According to witnesses, Elvis was attacked by at least two people who fled in an unknown direction after the attack.

- It is hard for me because I do not know what actually happened. My son was a wonderful man with a heart of gold, he loved children and taught them to play football. I want to know what happened...", said Elvis's mother.

- Investigative authorities cannot yet disclose information, but we have made contact with witnesses and are still looking for interlocutors who could reveal more, said Malmö police spokesperson Linda Pleym.
