Severe weather hit London, and a woman died when a tree fell on her in a gust of wind, reports bbc.com, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Three other people were injured when a tree fell in Sussex. The storm in London was caused by Hurricane Gonzalo, which hit Bermuda last week, and traffic is moving with difficulty.
Wind gusts are up to 70 km per hour and affected much of the country. At Heathrow Airport, 120 flights were cancelled, and delays and cancellations of ferry services were also recorded.
