Exhibition of Crocheted Clothing and Jewelry Opened at the House of Crafts

The Municipality of Stari Grad has provided the space of the House of Crafts for an exhibition of crocheted clothing and jewelry, organized by the Association „Gračaničko keranje“ and designer from Stari Grad Nermina Begović. She stated that she had met with the members of the Association „Gračaničko keranje“, with whom the Municipality of Stari Grad has a long-standing cooperation, at various exhibitions, events, and presentations, and they decided to jointly create and exhibit a fashion collection titled „LACE“, which translates to čipka, reports the Patria News Agency.

Otherwise, the Association „Gračaničko keranje“ has a long tradition of handmade various high-quality lace clothing and other items, while Nermina Begović, although an architect by profession, specializes in the creation, design, and promotion of artistic jewelry.

- We joined forces to promote the values of traditional crafts and skills through fashion and fashion design - Begović said.

The exhibition is of a sales nature and will be open until the end of this month, from 12:00 to 20:00. The members of the Association „Gračaničko keranje“ are the authors and creators of the idea of the Bosnian Flower (Cvijeta Srebrenice).

The House of Crafts is located at Mula Mustafe Bašeskije 55 street, near the Old Orthodox Church.
