In Ključ, a husband killed his wife with a firearm, then reported himself to the police

(Patria) - A woman was killed last night in a family home in Ključ, confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USK.

"An individual with initials K.M. (1961) used a firearm to kill his wife with initials K.D. (1962). The perpetrator of this criminal offense has been arrested and is under the control of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USK," said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USK, Abdulah Keranović.

The Prosecutor's Office of USK announced that in the early morning hours, the duty prosecutor of the Regional Prosecutor's Office of Sanski Most of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton was informed by the Ključ Police Station that in the settlement of Velagići, in a family home, an individual with initials K.M. (63) killed his wife with initials K.D. (62) with a firearm, after which he reported himself to the Ključ Police Station and was immediately taken into custody.

Immediately after receiving the report, the duty prosecutor went to the scene where she is supervising investigation activities in order to take all urgent actions to collect evidence and clarify the circumstances under which the criminal offense was committed. The suspect K.M. will be handed over to the duty prosecutor after criminal processing, who will decide on further actions.
