Mother and daughter killed in Karakaj

Two people died and three were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Zvornik – Tuzla main road in the village of Karakaj, it was confirmed by the Public Security Center Bijeljina, reports the Patria News Agency.

A thirty-six-year-old woman, identified as S.K., died at the scene around 8 PM last night, while her six-year-old daughter died around 11 PM at the University Clinical Center Tuzla as a result of her injuries.

Injuries were sustained by a 54-year-old male, S.S., who remains hospitalized at the UKC Tuzla, and D.K. /42/ from Boškovići near Zvornik and M.K. /18/ from Zvornik.

The traffic accident involved a "Golf 4" passenger car, driven by H.M. /22/ from Zvornik, and a "Golf 2", driven by D.K. /42/ from Boškovići near Zvornik.

In the "Golf 4", the front passenger seat was occupied by eighteen-year-old M.K. from Zvornik, who suffered minor injuries, while the "Golf 2" carried the fatally injured S.K. and her six-year-old daughter, as well as fifty-four-year-old S.S., who was transported to UKC Tuzla.
