Sarajevo Canton: Operation to Relocate Abandoned Vehicles Underway

(Patria) - The Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton is coordinating an operation to relocate abandoned motor vehicles in the Sarajevo Canton area, led by the Ministry of Transport of KS and KJKP „Rad“. 

The operation began on 13.10.2022 and is still ongoing. Two tow trucks are involved in the operation, and about 50 abandoned vehicles have been relocated so far.  

The relocation is being carried out from the garage on Mimara Sinana Boulevard to a location previously designated by the Government of Sarajevo Canton. The ultimate goal of this operation is to free up parking spaces in public parking areas, thereby contributing to solving the problem of stationary traffic in the Canton.
