Free preventive flu vaccination campaign begins in Sarajevo Canton

The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton informs citizens that the free preventive flu vaccination campaign for the 2017/2018 season begins today, November 3rd.

This year, the Health Insurance Fund of Sarajevo Canton has provided financial resources for the procurement of 8,000 doses of vaccine. The campaign is being carried out in cooperation with the Public Institution "Health Center of Sarajevo Canton", and vaccination will be available to citizens in 75 clinics of this institution.

Vaccines are free for at-risk groups of insured persons, namely: pensioners and persons over 65 years of age, chronically ill persons, persons with special needs, war invalids and civilian victims of war, as well as employees in healthcare institutions and educators.
