Film 'Nine Dissidents' Premiered in Kalesija

(Patria) - The Bosnian Cultural Center "Alija Izetbegović" in Kalesija hosted the premiere of the first Bosnian-Herzegovinian short fiction-documentary film, made in VR 360
Video technology, titled "Nine Dissidents", dedicated to Bosniak writers arrested during the communist regime: Edhem Mulabdić, Ahmed Muradbegović, Alija Nametak,
Rešad Kadić, Enver Čolaković and Safet Kafedžić, Muhamed Kondžić, Melika Salihbegović and Mubera Mujagić.

The film's screenwriter is Fatmir Alispahić, and the film's production is signed by Prof. Dr. Selma Rizvić, head of the Graphics Group Sarajevo laboratory, which is included in the "Nine
Dissidents" project. The film is made in a new form of video expression, in VR 360-degree technology.

"This is a completely new expression in computer and video technology. It is a great challenge and this is the first film we have completed in this production. We are happy to have promoted it in Kalesija", said Selma Rizvić.

The film director is Ahmed Imamović.

"We worked on a small, fictional segment here in Kalesija, with actors from Kalesija and with a crew that came from Sarajevo. The result of that work is very interesting and good. I plan to make another film with the same technique, it is a new discovery that offers great research possibilities in this segment", said Ahmed Imamović.

Music and sound mix were done by Adnan Mušanović, the cinematographer is Bojan Mijatović, and in addition to academic actor Nermin Hodžić and painter Fikret Jahić Vršanin, the film also features a cast of Kalesija extras: Mešan Brđanović, Ibro Tubić – Cicko, Mehmed Islamović, Zajim
Imamović, Mujo Dukić, Muharem Mustafić, Hajrudin Majdančić.

The project was realized within the DISSIDENeT project of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo, with the support of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, and is part of the European consortium for the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the fall of communism in Europe. The film was shot in Kalesija, in partnership with JU BKC "Alija Izetbegović" Kalesija and with the support of the Municipality of Kalesija and Neon television.
