619 million BAM of indirect taxes collected in July

The Indirect Taxation Authority collected 3 billion and 909 million BAM in the first seven months of 2017, which is 255 million BAM or 6.99% more compared to the same period in 2016, when a total of 3 billion and 654 million BAM was collected, reports Patria News Agency.

In July 2017 alone, the ITA collected 619 million BAM of indirect taxes, which is 72 million BAM more compared to July 2016.

After VAT refunds to taxpayers, which amounted to 731 million BAM in the first seven months of 2017, the net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-July 2017, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 3 billion and 177 million BAM, and are 139 million BAM higher compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account in the same period of 2016.

An amount of 432 million BAM was distributed for financing state institutions in the period January-July 2017. In the first seven months of 2017, a total of 1 billion and 767 million BAM was distributed to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 899 million BAM was distributed to Republika Srpska, and 97 million BAM to Brčko District.
