JABLANICA, (Patria) - A state of natural disaster has been declared in the municipality of Jablanica, caused by heavy rainfall that hit the area from February 3 to 4, and caused material damage to road infrastructure, buildings, and other facilities, it was announced from the Operational Centre (OC) of the Civil Protection (CZ) of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC).
In Konjic, work continues today on removing the rock that fell on Saturday and hit a residential building, endangering one apartment.
Yesterday, ten members of the Debris Removal Team of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, members of the Konjic CZ service, as well as workers of the Public Utility Company (JKP) Standard with a clearing machine, participated in breaking up and removing the rock, which caused significant material damage, according to the statement from the OC CZ HNC.
