(Patria) - According to information published by the Iranian news agency Mehr, prominent Iranian nuclear scientist Isar Tabatabai-Kamshah (also known as Tabatabai-Qamsheh) was killed in this morning's Israeli attack, along with his wife.
The attack occurred during an exchange of strikes between Iran and Israel, which escalated in the early morning hours. There is no official comment from the Israeli side regarding this specific case so far.
However, the Israeli military earlier this morning confirmed that it had eliminated two commanders of the Iranian Quds Force, the foreign branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in the attack, claiming they were involved in financing and arming the Palestinian group Hamas.
According to available information from multiple sources, Israel has allegedly killed a total of six prominent Iranian nuclear experts in the last seven days. These attacks come amid rising tensions between the two countries and increasingly frequent strikes involving high-ranking military and scientific figures.
Details about the location and exact target of the attack in which Tabatabai-Kamshah was killed have not yet been officially confirmed.
