(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision amending the Decision on the amount of monetary compensation for employees in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for meals during work.
By this decision, the 'hot meal' for employees in BiH institutions will be increased from the current 8.00 KM to 11.00 KM, effective from September 1, 2022.
The exception is elected and appointed officials (members of the BiH Presidency, deputies and delegates of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the Chair of the Council of Ministers of BiH, ministers and deputies, heads of institutions and their deputies), for whom the meal allowance will not be increased and will amount to 6.00 KM.
At the session, a Decision was adopted amending the Decision on the amount, method and procedure for exercising the right to compensation for transport to and from work in institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this way, the daily and weekly transport compensation, determined based on the distance between the workplace and the employee's place of residence depending on the number of kilometers, will increase by about 20%, starting from September 1 this year.
The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Security, adopted a Decision establishing the amount of a special supplement to the salary for police officers in police bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and state employees in the State Investigation and Protection Agency who perform tasks directly related to operational-investigative work.
The Decision establishes the amount of a special supplement to the salary for police officers in BiH police bodies (State Investigation and Protection Agency, Border Police of BiH and the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies) and state employees in the State Investigation and Protection Agency who perform tasks directly related to operational-investigative work.
Taking into account the risk, level of responsibility and working conditions at certain positions, the amount of the supplement can go up to 40% of the base salary, or up to 50% for those assigned to the Special Support Unit in the State Investigation and Protection Agency.
Appointed police officers, including directors, deputy directors and assistant directors of police agencies, are not entitled to the special supplement within the meaning of the provisions of this Decision.
