(Patria) - A fire broke out in a barn and shed in the area of the Ilijaš municipality, in the village of Vladajevići. However, as confirmed by the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, there were no injuries.
The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior announced this morning that the fire broke out last night shortly before 7 p.m. Material damage was caused to the facilities owned by A. D.
“The duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office was informed about this and ordered that an investigation be carried out at the scene in the morning hours, with the presence of a fire protection expert and an investigation team from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the event,” stated the Sarajevo police.
The portal Ilijasnet reports that, according to unofficial information, the cause of the fire was a lightning strike, given that it broke out during the storm that also affected parts of Ilijaš.
The fire was extinguished after the intervention of firefighters, two teams: the Ilijaš Professional Fire Brigade and the Vogošća Fire Department.
