Alija Delimustafić arrested in Croatia

In the afternoon hours, Alija Delimustafić was arrested in Croatia, information obtained by Patria. Spokesperson for the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, told us that the Prosecutor's Office has not been officially notified of the arrest. 

An internal and international warrant for Alija Delimustafić and Juso Škrijelj was issued by the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with Interpol, after they were not found at their addresses by the Court Police on Tuesday. The order to issue the warrants was issued by the Sarajevo Cantonal Court, based on the proposal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. 

The two were arrested in the "Pravda" operation. They are suspected of organized crime in connection with the criminal offenses of abuse of position, violation of the law by a judge, money laundering, and fraud. They were released from custody, against which the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office appealed, and the Cantonal Court, accepting the appeal, ordered them back into custody.
