A serious accident occurred shortly after 1 PM at the Čistine railway crossing between Otok and Spačva on the Vinkovci-Drenovci-state border line, Croatian media report, as reported by the BH News Agency Patria.
As HŽ reported, a passenger car went under a HŽ Cargo freight train. Four people were killed and two were seriously injured. The injured were transported to the General Hospital in Vinkovci.
HŽ Infrastruktura expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, the statement reads.
