Larger quantity of weapons, explosives and drugs seized in Gradačac

(Patria) - Police officers of the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Criminal Police Sector, the Drug Abuse Prevention Department and the Gradačac Police Administration, and with the assistance of the Special Support Police Unit, conducted a search operation in the area of Gradačac.

Acting on a warrant from the Municipal Court, a search was carried out of the house, auxiliary buildings, yard and vehicle used by S.H., born in 1988, from Gradačac.

On that occasion, a larger quantity of weapons, explosive devices and ammunition was found and temporarily seized - a light machine gun, a hand-held "zolja" launcher, three revolvers, two pistols, a gas pistol, twelve hand grenades, two hand grenade bodies with fuses, a rifle grenade attachment, four hunting rifles, as well as a white cylindrical substance resembling explosives.

Also seized were eight electric detonator caps, detonator cord, so-called "balaclavas", parts of a camouflage uniform, bulletproof vests, belts with holsters, knives, a larger quantity of ammunition of various calibers (more than a thousand rounds), radio equipment, blinkers and rotating lights, flashlights, and tools for restamping chassis numbers and other tools.

In addition, a smaller quantity of substances and tablets resembling narcotic drugs was found, along with items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

The duty cantonal prosecutor was informed of everything, and a report will be submitted to the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office against the suspect on suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances and possession and enabling the use of narcotic drugs.
