SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje Police Station was informed this morning around 2:40 AM that unknown persons in the area of Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje threw flammable liquids into 7 facilities housing sports betting shops, causing fires and material damage to the facilities, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton (MUP SBK) announced.
"Immediately upon receiving the report, police officers went to the scene and confirmed the allegations, and proceeded to take intensive measures and actions within their jurisdiction. Members of the Gornji Vakuf – Uskoplje Fire Department also went to the scene and extinguished the fire. In cooperation with the competent cantonal prosecutor's office, police officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Bugojno Police Administration conducted an on-site investigation and are undertaking other activities to shed light on the reported incidents," stated the MUP SBK.
