(Patria) - The Civil Defense Authority in Gaza announced that over the past few days, heavy rains have flooded more than 1,540 tents housing displaced Palestinians.
Rescue teams stated that hundreds of tents remained under water and that water levels in some places exceeded 30 centimeters.
The statement said that floodwaters entered the tents and damaged bedding and other temporary furniture.
It was also reported that a total of 497 tents were flooded and damaged in various parts of Gaza City, 170 in Rafah, 665 in Khan Younis, and 210 in Deir El-Balah.
