(Patria) - The number of Palestinians who have died from hunger, thirst and lack of medicine in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has prevented the entry of aid and caused a major humanitarian catastrophe, has risen to 30.
Another child died from hunger, thirst and lack of medicine at the "Kamal Advan" hospital in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing health sources.
This brings the total number of deaths from hunger in the Gaza Strip to 30, most of them children.
Along with continued attacks on civilian settlements, hospitals, schools and shelters where displaced Palestinians have taken refuge since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has also prevented the entry of humanitarian aid and condemned the 2.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip to starvation.
International circles, especially UN organizations, are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, where most hospitals are non-functional, medical supplies are lacking, and diseases caused by hunger, thirst and lack of hygiene are visible.
