He plays himself in the film: Alen Muhić abandoned because he is the product of rape

The Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo begins filming a documentary-feature film about Alen Muhić, the boy after whom the film "The Boy from the War Film" was made ten years ago, on Saturday, November 22 in Goražde, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Muhić was born in the Goražde War Hospital. His mother, who was raped and expelled from Foča in late pregnancy, abandoned him immediately after birth, and Alen only found out he was adopted at the age of ten. The film is being made as part of the documentary series Oral BiHistory, directed by the multi-award-winning BiH director Šemsudin Gegić.

The main roles are played by Alen Muhić and Armin Omerović. The first clap of the film will be shot on November 22 at 10 AM at the Behar Hotel in Goražde. This film is extremely important for both the Institute for Research of Crimes and Bosnian-Herzegovinian cinematography, and journalistic teams will be allowed to record the shooting of the first clap.
