Production of raw materials and capital goods increased in the Federation

The total production of intermediate goods (products used as raw materials or semi-finished products for the production of other goods) in the Federation of BiH in March 2014 was higher by 17.3 percent compared to the same month last year, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics of the Federation of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Also, compared to the same period last year, the production of non-durable consumer goods increased by 7.1 percent. Capital goods increased by 3.8 percent.

Compared to last year, the production of durable consumer goods and energy decreased. The production of durable consumer goods is lower by 23.8 percent, while the production of energy is lower by 14.7 percent.

Total industrial production in the Federation in March this year is higher by 1.2 percent compared to March last year, reports Patria.
