Production of potatoes, beans, corn, etc. increased in FBiH, production of apples, plums, tobacco decreased

According to data from the Federal Statistical Office, in 2016, corn grain production in FBiH was 243,760 tons, which is 29.8 percent more than in 2015. In the production of industrial crops, soybean production increased by 162.5 percent, and tobacco production decreased by 13.4 percent compared to 2015.

Potato production amounts to 228,009 tons, an increase of 12.6 percent, and bean grain production increased by 47.0 percent compared to last year's production.

In the production of fodder crops, an increase was recorded in clover production by 9.7 percent, alfalfa by 10.9 percent, corn for fodder by 31.6 percent, and grass-clover mixtures by 12.1 percent compared to 2015.

In fruit production, the realized production of apples decreased by 23.1 percent and plums by 6.6 percent compared to 2015.

The total grape production increased by 9.2 percent compared to 2015, writes Patria.
