A shell fired from Serb positions around Sarajevo on September 3, 1992, in Čekaluša Street near number 33, claimed the lives of five citizens, three of whom were children, and two citizens were seriously injured, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
A delegation from the Centar Municipality, members of the Association of Parents of Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995, and family members of the fallen citizens today marked the anniversary of the deaths of boys Adnan and Mirza Hodžić, and Vedran Štimac, as well as Sanela Lukačević and Faruk Nišić, at the site of the tragedy by paying respects and laying flowers next to the memorial plaque erected in their lasting memory.
On behalf of the Centar Municipality, flowers were laid by the Chairman of the Municipal Council Nedžad Ajnadžić, advisor to the Mayor Mustafa Resić, councilor Amel Mekić, president of the Council of the Local Community ''Džidžikovac-Koševo I'' Nevenka Škavo, secretary of the Local Community ''Ciglane-Gorica'' Izet Kuhinja, and coordinator in the Service for Local Self-Government Ibrahim Burazerović, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
