Komšić and Rasmussen to meet in Brussels tomorrow

Željko Komšić, member of the Presidency of BiH, will lead the BiH delegation at tomorrow's meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at NATO headquarters in Brussels, reports the Patria (NAP) agency. In addition to Komšić, the BiH delegation includes the Minister of Defense of BiH Zekerijah Osmić, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Trišić-Babić, foreign policy advisors to the members of the Presidency of BiH, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH Major General Anto Jeleč, and the Head of the BiH Mission to NATO Branimir Jukić.

A bilateral meeting with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is scheduled, after which Komšić and Rasmussen will address the media.

This meeting is being held as part of consultations between the NAC and countries aspiring to NATO membership (BiH, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Georgia). The aim of the meeting is to exchange views on BiH's progress towards NATO membership and the implementation of the cooperation program with NATO.
