Near Ključ: Jeep plunges into Sana River, two dead

Near Ključ, in the village of Crljeni, close to the so-called Banjički Bridge, a traffic accident occurred early this morning in which two people lost their lives, reports the Patria news agency.

As stated by Ale Šiljdedić, spokesperson for the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, around 3:30 AM a Jeep with four people plunged into the Sana River.

Two people managed to save themselves, while two unfortunately remained trapped in the vehicle.

"The driver and front-seat passenger drowned, and their bodies are still underwater. Divers are on the scene, and police officers are conducting an investigation, so more information will be known soon," he added.

The cause of the accident is still unknown, reports krajina.ba.
