Man who stabbed woman and jumped off building dies in Bijeljina

(Patria) - A man who stabbed a woman last night and then jumped off a balcony died this morning at the Bijeljina hospital, InfoBijeljina has confirmed.

According to the Bijeljina hospital, he died this morning at 4:30 AM, while the woman's health condition remains critical.

- The man and woman were brought to the Emergency Center around 7:15 PM last night. The patient had multiple injuries, cuts on her hands, and one larger wound in the lumbar region.

The man was in a comatose state with severe bodily injuries. Additional diagnostics revealed he had a fractured pelvis, multiple fractures of the skull, neck, and extremities.

Both underwent further diagnostic procedures upon admission - said Dr. Milan Todorović, Head of the Department for Surgical Disciplines at the Public Health Institution Hospital "Sveti vračevi" Bijeljina.

He added that the patient died this morning around 4:30 AM, while the patient is still in intensive care in critical condition, and her condition is currently stable.
