32-year-old drowns in pool near Bijeljina

(Patria) - A 32-year-old man from Bijeljina, initials V.Š., died today at the pools of the "Dvorovi" spa near Bijeljina, confirmed to InfoBijeljina by the police.

- At around 4:20 PM at the pools of the "Dvorovi" spa, a male person drowned, whose death was confirmed by the Bijeljina Emergency Medical Service team - the police said.

Let us recall, the young man was noticed today floating on the water surface in the pool of the "Dvorovi" spa near Bijeljina, after which an ambulance was called, but he could not be saved.

After being pulled from the water, Dr. Srđan Mijatović was at the scene and, together with others, attempted to resuscitate him until the arrival of the emergency team.

- He was unconscious, floating on the water. Someone called the ambulance and doctors came. The ambulance took him away, but he could not be saved, he died - said one eyewitness.
