
(Patria) - Banja Luka police, as part of the operation "Eskadron", arrested 19 people from Banja Luka on suspicion of drug smuggling.
Also, they seized about 900 grams of cocaine and 1.1 kilograms of marijuana, as well as 35,000 KM, said the head of the Banja Luka Police Administration, Đurica Vukelić.
According to him, the following persons were arrested: V.M, B.Đ, A.Ć, D.P, M.L, G.S, S.S, M.Ć, V.M, M.T, M.B, D.J, D.P, A.R, B.M, A.P, Z.V, Z.B and M.R.
Addressing a press conference, Vukelić explained that two persons are being sought, while R.P. from Banja Luka is in custody.
One member of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ) was slightly injured.
- One of the suspects released a Cane Corso dog on the police. On that occasion, police officers used weapons to defend themselves, and a ricochet occurred, slightly wounding one SAJ member - said Vukelić.
He emphasized that the questioning of the suspects is ongoing and added that the suspects sold drugs on the territory of Banja Luka.
