(Patria) - Participants of the meeting on Ukraine, which was held yesterday in Abu Dhabi, agreed to continue the dialogue today and that "no one will slam the door," an unnamed Russian source told TASS.
Earlier, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov announced that the trilateral Russian-American-Ukrainian working group on security issues would hold its first meeting in Abu Dhabi on January 23.
"They agreed to continue, that no one will slam the door," the source said.
The Russian side was led by the Chief of the General Staff's Main Directorate of the Russian Army, Igor Kostyukov, and the Ukrainian side by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov.
Earlier on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the talks in Abu Dhabi on Friday would continue if necessary.
Russia's attack on Ukraine began in February 2022.
