Seven people injured in 28 traffic accidents

In the past 24 hours, a total of 28 traffic accidents occurred in the Sarajevo Canton area, of which 25 involved material damage and 3 involved injured persons, with one person seriously and six lightly injured, announced the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- Due to driving under the influence of alcohol, 7 drivers were removed from traffic, 8 persons for driving without a valid driver's license, and 4 unregistered motor vehicles - it is stated.

One of the accidents occurred yesterday at 5:10 PM on the roadway of Bosanski put street, Ilijaš municipality. At that time, a collision occurred between a passenger motor vehicle of the make “VW Golf 4”, registration plate A85-J-523, driven by driver H.E., born in 1977 in Banovići, where he resides, and a cargo motor vehicle of the make “Fiat”, registration plate J32-A-454, driven by driver D.M., born in 1985 in Ilijaš, where he resides.

- In this traffic accident, D.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, and medical assistance was provided to him at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, where he was kept for further treatment at the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, while H.E. sustained minor bodily injuries. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the incident, and the investigation was carried out by police officers of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton - it was announced.
