Tuzla Movement calls for BiH's urgent NATO accession

A non-governmental organization "Tuzla Movement" was registered today in Tuzla with the fundamental goals of Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to NATO as soon as possible and full membership in the EU, reports the news agency Patria.

The founders and members of the movement are committed to doing everything to restore the true political, economic, scientific, and cultural values of BiH society, to stop this bestial corruption, theft, and sale of our country's resources and property, it was announced from the "Tuzla Movement".

- We hereby wish to express our resistance, to say "no" to the report of the International Crisis Group (ICG) which, allegedly under strong pressure from the US administration, is drawing new maps of the administrative-political structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a clear tendency towards the division of this country into three entities based on a religious-national concept, which is an obvious prelude to the final collapse of BiH. The ICG is trying to absolve those political forces in BiH who, by repeating the political mantra of secession of this country, would achieve the century-old goal of Serbian politics and thus achieve in peace what they did not achieve in war - they further state.

They emphasize that the ICG seeks support in alleged attempts at centralization and unitarization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the alleged goal of the so-called "Bosniak policy", and the people of this country want and hope for a country that can function, be self-sustaining, take care of its citizens, their fundamental human rights, social and political peace and stability.

If the ICG had only looked at the US Constitution, they would have noticed that Article 1 of that Constitution begins with the words: "We, the people of the United States...", which expresses the basic principle of the construction of the USA, and the ICG calls for help the clichés of Dodik's failed policy, the establishment of a third entity, and thus affirms the bi-national political coalition of HDZ and SNSD.

- Mr. Prelec, this Report is on a losing track, a pamphlet, by all accounts commissioned from well-known lobbying kitchens, paid for with the money of people who are barely making ends meet. You are not welcome with such assessments, which discredit you both as a person and as an institution that has had its bright moments and serious political analyses of BiH. It should be clear to you that the territorial reorganization of BiH according to a religious-national concept does not bring peace and stability to this suffering country, it brings destabilization and a great danger of new war conflicts. Do not try to project this country into a new Palestine, and the Bosniaks, whose living space is increasingly threatened, into protagonists of extremism and religious fanaticism. We are tired of divisions, splits, secession, alienation, it is time for the reintegration of this state, it is time to reconcile the national with the civic, it is time for the High Representative to start using the Bonn powers again after ten years and thus overcome the crisis, the intentionally caused blockade of this country. It is time for the EU to finally understand the real causes of the crisis in BiH and, without conditions, admit our country to the EU, to which it would give 3-5 years to fulfill post-accession obligations and adapt its regulations to the EU White Paper, thereby solving the fundamental political problem of this state according to the model of Bulgaria, Romania... and some others - they added from this association, signed by Dr. Sead Avdić.
