Tuzla: Suspect arrested for two physical assaults in the city center

(Patria) - Two incidents were reported in Tuzla today, suspected to have been committed by the same person, and one suspect has been arrested, announced the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton.

The Centar Police Station was first notified of an assault on M.H. (2004) from Tuzla in Muhameda Hevaija Uskufija street, near the School of Electrical Engineering.

According to the report, an unknown person physically assaulted him on two occasions, first while he was in his vehicle, and then after he drove away and stopped again nearby, sustaining injuries that were determined to be minor bodily injuries at the UKC Tuzla, along with damage to the vehicle.

The duty cantonal prosecutor qualified this event as the criminal offense of violent behavior.

On the same day, around 4:15 PM, the police received multiple reports from citizens about a fight near Skver and the Music School. At the scene, A.I. (1972) from Tuzla, who was transported to UKC Tuzla due to injuries, and S.Z. (1992) from Tuzla were found.

After the investigation, the police determined that both incidents were most likely committed by the same perpetrator, and the duty prosecutor qualified the second event as attempted grievous bodily harm.

S.Z. was arrested and after criminal processing, along with a report containing evidence, will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton for further proceedings.
