Tuzla: "Children's Athletics - Running Towards Health" Project

A competition for elementary schools in the city of Tuzla, which participated in the "Children's Athletics - Running Towards Health" project, was held at the "Tušanj" stadium. The project, which lasted for 12 months, was implemented by AK "Sloboda-Tehnograd" and supported by the Tuzla Community Foundation.

The goal of the project was to create the necessary conditions for the widest possible participation of preschool and elementary school children in athletics training in Tuzla and the Tuzla Canton, to select future athletes, and to promote athletics as a sport for preschool and elementary school children in Tuzla and the Tuzla Canton.

Students from elementary schools in Tuzla (Brčanska malta, Sjenjak, Pazar, Miladije, Tušanj, Novi Grad, Solina, Mejdan, Simin Han, Kiseljak), as well as students from Elementary School Banovići, athletes from Rogatica, and members of the "Mali sportaši" (Little Athletes) sports school from Tuzla, and children involved through the basic sports project of RSD Sloboda participated in this competition. The project was recognized and supported in the Municipality of Tuzla by the Tuzla Community Foundation and the "Volim Tuzlu" (I Love Tuzla) Fund.

The "Children's Athletics" project will continue to be implemented in all 13 municipalities of the Tuzla Canton, as well as in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and throughout the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
