Tuzla: Hungarian sentenced to 11 years in prison for killing wife with a crossbow in Lipnica

(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Tuzla has passed and publicly announced a first-instance verdict in criminal proceedings against E.S.-C., by which the accused was found guilty of committing the criminal offense of murder, and sentenced to 11 years in prison.

The accused was found guilty of hitting his wife S.B. in the chest area with a bow and arrow in the victim's family home in the Tuzla suburban settlement of Lipnica, between February 19 and 21, 2024, which caused the death of the victim.

After the announcement of the first-instance verdict, the court issued a decision extending the pre-trial detention for the accused, which can last for a maximum of nine months, starting from the date of the verdict until he is sent to serve his prison sentence.

Let us remind you, this concerns Hungarian citizen Erno Sabo-Caki (50) who killed his wife Selma Baluković (48) with a crossbow.
