Tuzla: Body of a Man (46) Found in the River Jala

(Patria) - The lifeless body of a 46-year-old man with initials V.M. from Tuzla, whose disappearance was reported to the Center Police Station around 14:10, was found in the river Jala, in the Tuzla settlement of Solana.

The report was filed by his common-law wife A.P., according to the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, adding that it was stated that the deceased left the apartment where they live on Sunday around 12:45.

- Today around 15:40, the West Police Station was informed that a likely lifeless body of an unknown person was spotted in the riverbed of the Jala, in the Solana settlement, right by the bank.

Immediately upon receiving this report, a patrol of police officers from the West Police Station and the Emergency Medical Service of the Tuzla Health Center were dispatched to the scene, where the report's claims were confirmed.

The coroner pronounced the death of the unknown person, who was later identified as the missing V.M. (born 1977)," stated the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton.

The investigation at the scene was led by the duty prosecutor, and it was carried out by investigators from the Criminal Police Department of the Tuzla Police Administration.

"All necessary measures and actions are still being taken to determine the cause of death of V.M., under the order of the acting prosecutor," the Police Administration added.
